The Dream View Bench is an invitation to pause and daydream for a moment. The curvature of the bench makes us look at the sky in a restful position, allowing us to connect with nature and let our thoughts flow freely. The bench (100 cm wide) allows us to look at the clouds and stars in the company of each-other and the chair (60 cm wide) invites for moments of self reflection.

Daydreaming is an inward focus and attention where the DMN (Default Mode Network) lights up in the brain while at rest (but is yet very active). It is a state for growth and learning, a restorative break which allows us to come up with new and better ideas, hopes and plans for the future.

Experience the Dream View Benches in a big permanent installation of the garden of Designmuseum Danmark, free admission to the open air and daydreaming.
