POETIC PERSPECTIVES
Pop-up Exhibition at Designmuseum Danmark during 3 Days of Design 2025
In the exhibition Poetic Perspectives, Lise Vester presents a series of experimental works exploring light, optics, and reflection. Through a playful approach to materials - from mouth-blown glass to mirrors and prismatic films - the works offer new, sensory ways to experience space, the body, and movement. The exhibition invites moments of pause and reflection in everyday life, investigating how design can enhance mental well-being and spark curiosity and wonder.
Experience:
Fragments, a modular atmospheric mirror concept where prisms create inverted, spherical reflections.
Light Lab, (Work in progress) a series of experimental table lamps in mouth-blown glass, creating optical experiences of light and movement. Kindly supported by Statens Kunstfond.
Cirrus, a modular floor lamp inspired by the delicate streaks of cirrus clouds created by prismatic light effects.
Reflections, mouth-blown mirror with handcrafted silvering, creating layered reflections.
Dream View Sphere, a mouth-blown glass sphere functioning as an optical lens, projecting the outside view into the room.
Lighthouse, (Exhibited in the Library Lounge) a chandelier designed in collaboration with Louis Poulsen, composed of fresnel lenses and light, Lighthouse creates shifting, magnified light effects that dance and refract as you move around it.
Dream View Bench, (Exhibited in the garden), a Bench designer in collaboration with Muuto, that invites rest, reflection, and sensory presence. Its curved form gently frames the view ahead, offering a seated pause that encourages daydreaming.
